The proposal for the Kamerunga Sand Mine was to be before Council over six months ago. However several extensions of time have been granted to address environmental issues required to obtain permission to mine the sand. It is not surprising that it would take some time addressing environmental issues when you put a sand mine so close to residents and a school!

As a result submissions against the proposed development will still be accepted by Council. You are also able to lodge an additional objection (raising new points) if you have already had your say. Note that any submissions received now will not have third party rights.
